Bioly Zoom Integration
This page explains what the Bioly Zoom integration does, how to connect it, what permissions are requested, how it can be used inside Bioly, and how users can manage or remove access from their dashboard.
Overview
The Bioly Zoom integration is designed for users who want to connect Zoom to booking and scheduling workflows inside Bioly.

What the Bioly Zoom integration does
The Bioly Zoom integration allows eligible Bioly users to connect their Zoom account and use it in supported booking workflows. Depending on the account’s configured features, this may include creating Zoom meetings for bookings or using Zoom as part of a connected scheduling experience inside the Bioly dashboard.
Prerequisites
- An active Bioly account with access to dashboard integrations.
- A valid Zoom account that is eligible to authorize the Bioly app.
- Any required booking or scheduling features enabled inside the user’s Bioly workspace.
- A modern browser with cookies and redirects enabled for the authorization flow.
How to connect Zoom
A user connects Zoom from the integrations area of their Bioly dashboard. When the user chooses to connect Zoom, Bioly sends the user through Zoom’s OAuth authorization flow.
After the user approves access, Zoom redirects the user back to Bioly, where the connection is completed and stored for that specific Bioly account or workspace.
What permissions are requested
Bioly uses Zoom OAuth to request permission from the user’s Zoom account. The user signs in to Zoom directly on Zoom’s authorization screen and approves access there. Bioly does not collect the user’s Zoom password.
The integration requests only the permissions needed to connect the account and support allowed Zoom-related features inside Bioly, such as meeting creation and connection management. Once authorization is granted, Bioly stores the limited tokens and metadata required to maintain the connection and perform those actions on behalf of the user.
How to use the integration
Once connected, Zoom can be used in supported Bioly scheduling or booking flows. If the user has enabled booking functionality and selected the relevant settings, Bioly may create Zoom meetings or attach Zoom details as part of the booking experience.
How to configure the integration inside Bioly
After connecting Zoom, users can return to their Bioly dashboard and review the connection status from the integrations section. From there, they can continue setting up supported booking behavior, meeting preferences, and other related workflow options that depend on the Zoom connection.
Users manage the integration from their Bioly dashboard, where they can confirm whether Zoom is connected, reconnect if needed, or remove access.
How to disconnect Zoom
A user can disconnect Zoom from the integrations area of the Bioly dashboard. This removes the active connection inside Bioly and stops future Zoom actions initiated by Bioly until the user reconnects the account.
Users may also manage app access from their Zoom account settings according to Zoom’s own account controls.
Troubleshooting
- If authorization fails, confirm that your Zoom account is active and that browser redirects are not being blocked.
- If the integration appears connected but meetings are not being created, review your booking configuration inside Bioly and reconnect Zoom if needed.
- If your Zoom account permissions change, you may need to disconnect and reconnect the integration.
- If a third-party outage affects Zoom or related services, some functionality may be temporarily unavailable until the provider restores service.
